e-Lab - Entrepreneurship Laboratory
The e-lab (Entrepreneurship Laboratory) is based on a seminar concept that has been developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and successfully been practiced for 20 years.
Selected students participate in the management of high-tech startups and gain hands-on experience in starting and managing a new business. The projects carried out by the student teams focus on projects of strategic importance, e.g. pricing strategy, competitor analysis, financing, market entry, etc. Students discuss important issues emerging in the daily operation of "their" startups with fellow students, guest speakers and their lecturers. The seminar fosters an atmosphere of informal exchange and team work among all participants.
The e-lab is a joint seminar of the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) and the LMU Entrepreneurship Center. As common director of both institutions Prof. Dietmar Harhoff, Ph.D. has assumed scientific supervision for e-lab. Regular lecturers include Eric Achtmann, Dr. Franz Erath, Martin Giese, Andy Goldstein, Dr. David Hoeflmayr and Bernd Mühlfriedel. We thank our partners for supporting us.
